Anti-Semitism in Europe – What are the challenges facing the Israeli-German relationship? With Jeremy Issacharoff

The relations between Germany and Israel are of fundamental importance for both states. Germany is perceived as an important partner in Israel. Nevertheless there are discrepancies, for example in recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In addition, there is an increase in anti-Semitic incidents in European countries, not just on the street, but by elected representatives.

Does Germany live up to its special responsibility for Israel? What measures are there at the national and international level against anti-Semitism and are they sufficient? And: What role will Germany and the EU play in the Middle East conflict, how neutral can they be? We would like to discuss these and other questions with you and Ambassador Jeremy Issacharoff in a small group.

Please note: This event will be in English.

We look forward to your participation and ask you to register until February 22nd by e-mail, stating your name and year of birth. By attending the event, you agree that the photos taken there may be used for publicity purposes.
